Why I chose this costume:  I've always admired the outfits worn by the various members of Lareine through the years they've been together.  I originally wanted to do Machi's outfit and was begged by my sewing partner not to attempt anything with a hoop skirt.  So I chose the next best thing: Kamijo's princely outfit with tons of shiny gold trim and elegant blue fabric.

How I made this costume:  This costume was made by taking a pre-made Vogue brand pattern and altering a good number of the pieces, and drafting my own to make it look as close to the original as possible.

My thoughts on this costume:  I really liked wearing this costume.  It made me feel really princely, which made it easy to get into character while wearing it.  The only problems I would say are that I was unable to afford the exact fabrics used in the original or the exact gold trims.  All in all, it's a great costume though- even if the shoes tried to kill my feet while in them.
