Why I chose this costume:  I'm a big big fan of Machi and this was the outfit he wore for the band's major label debut image.

How I made this costume:  I originally made this costume in 2003.  But I revamped it for Otakon 2005 by remaking the skirt, shirt, shoes and rose wristlets.  The skirt was drafted from scratch, the shirt was a pre-made pattern and the hat and shoes were altered from pre-existing items.

My thoughts on this costume: I didn't feel very confident wearing the first version I made of this outfit. The fabrics were less than accurate and the shirt bothered me.  I LOVE the revamped version.  It's really comfy and makes who I am while dressed in it quite a bit more obvious.
